About Open Trader
Open Trader is an open-source, community-driven, decentralised crypto trading protocol — built in public, forkable by design, and operated transparently.
Our mission
We believe trading infrastructure should be open, auditable and owned by the people who use it. Open Trader exists to give traders a transparent venue with live market data, a user-control focused custody roadmap, and a codebase anyone can read, fork and improve.
What makes us different
- Open source. Every line of the protocol is public under the MIT license.
- Decentralised. The architecture is built toward user-controlled custody and reduced reliance on centralised intermediaries.
- Operational separation. Funding, platform operations, and account records are designed to be separated as the product matures.
- Live market data. Real-time order book and price feeds from leading exchanges.
- Community-driven. Roadmap, governance and contributions happen in the open on GitHub.
Built by traders, for traders
Open Trader is created by an international community of engineers, quants and active traders. The platform ships a full professional workspace — chart with drawing tools and indicators, depth-of-book, market watch, positions and an order ticket — together with an integrated AI assistant for market context.
